Identity
DeviceBound ID™
A reusable DeviceBound identity and credential layer for trusted interactions across the platform.
What it is
One credential, carried by the device.
Every DeviceBound Live verification already binds a person to a trusted device through a cryptographic credential created on that device. DeviceBound ID turns that into something reusable: a DeviceBound ID number, a verification history, a current credential status, and the record of which trusted device it lives on.
Biometric checks stay on the device. DeviceBound never receives Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint data. What it keeps is the cryptographic evidence that the check took place.
Where it goes
The same identity across DeviceBound.
- Events: a ticket tied to a person and their device
- Enterprise sign-in and access control
- Age verification and VIP credentials
- Membership and licensing checks
- DeviceBound Check lookups against a live credential status
Status: planned. DeviceBound ID builds on the device-bound credential DeviceBound Live uses in production today.
